We visited the national rainforest by open-topped jeep. Exotic wildlife, giant ferns, wild orchids and the Jacquot, St Lucia's own rare and indigenous parrot, can be found here. Once at the outskirts of the forest we were taken on a one hour hike downhill. At the bottom we could bathe at a waterfall before heading uphill to take the jeep back to the coast for lunch.
